The main thing is you HAVE to try these before you buy them. The modulations are fantastic and easy to creat the tone you want. I personally don't like the Boss distortions, too gritty for me, but their overdrive patches are tremendous. The GT-6 is't worth it, if you want boss, go for the GT-8. It's better for live playing because the valve gives it a bit more life than just digital patches. Apparently it's very user friendly, but, it tends to be more metal-orientated the hi gain patches are insanely good, but what I've heard of the lower gain and clean patches isn't the best. Line 6 POD is a versitlile piece of kit, I've never heard any problems with it, but then I've never tried it. I wouldn't take their advice because every fucker owns one now, and you don't know who's just jumping on the 'love POD' bandwagon. ![]() People will here will whore the POD XT Live till the end of time, no matter what. ![]() Let me just go over a few things with you so this guy will stop calling you stupid.Īll 3 are good FX units.
